The Caryatids

They were sculpted female figures serving as architectural support for the entablature of a building.

This was a commission realised for Bouygues Immobilier for their new project “Puteaux Sublime”.

I imagined a society of women acrobats as the pillars of the La Défense buildings watched over night and day by the female Moon and Sun.
